KNOTTING A voor westernsport, training of dagelijks gebruik.

• MECATE ROPE
• TO A BOSAL
• HOW TO KNOT THE MECATE ROPE TO THE BOSAL
• 1. Place the end of the mecate (met the tassel) through the “V” of the bosal, as shown on picture.
• Note: tassel should come out at the bottom of the bosal
• 2. Wrap the long end of the mecate rope around the knot
• 3. Wrap 2 or 3 times, depending on the maat of the horse’s head
• 4. Pull the long end through the bosal to form the reins (as long as neccessary)
• 5. Keep the mecate tail end (met the leather popper) to the right
• 6. Make 1 final wrap around the bosal
